Rutgers University-Camden seeks a Senior Administrative Assistant for the Community Leadership Center, reporting to the
CLC Director, Dr. Gloria Bonilla-Santiago. The Senior Administrative Assistant oversees the administrative functions of the Community Leadership Center, handles confidential matters and documents, providing high-level support to the Center Director, and ensures the smooth execution of administrative coordination. The Senior Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to unit management by organizing, coordinating, and supervising daily
CLC operations. Assists all units of the
CLC with the coordination of programs, projects, and/or processes. Prioritizes and oversees center work, resolves routine conflicts and issues, implements administrative guidelines and procedures, and provides oversight to issues of compliance and adherence to protocols. Schedules appointments; arranges and coordinates design and logistics for events and meetings; and completes other work consistent with a broad understanding of the mission, vision, role, and goals of the
CLC. Given the expanding global initiatives at the
CLC, Spanish-speaking proficiency is strongly preferred, along with the ability to manage complex travel arrangements. This position will also support the ongoing partnership with the
LEAP Academy. The incumbent should have familiarity with K-12 school operations and can support board administrative functions. This position works under general supervision, within established work parameters, with few direct instructions and carries out routine and non-routine tasks with occasional review of work outputs by supervisor. This position provides advanced support of highly confidential and sensitive matters.
