As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and drivers with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and report concerns promptly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations through required communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including parking lots, docks, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and/or theft.
• Monitor access points and shipping and receiving areas, verifying authorized entry, checking credentials when required, and directing drivers and visitors to designated areas.
• Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate noteworthy events to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
