Key Job Responsibilities

The Sales Process & Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and improving global sales processes and data governance across the Komatsu/Modular Mining business. This position focuses on ensuring sales processes are efficient, scalable, and consistently executed, while maintaining high-quality data across Salesforce and SAP systems.


Working closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, IT, and regional business teams, this role helps harmonize processes and data across regions, enabling better decision-making, operational consistency, and customer support in a global mining technology environment.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Document, analyze, and improve end-to-end sales workflows, including pricing, entitlement management, lead-to-order, quote-to-cash, and customer data management.



  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of sales data governance standards and data quality processes.



  • Monitor data accuracy, completeness, and compliance across CRM and ERP systems.



  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and data issues, and recommend practical improvements or automation opportunities.



  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, guidelines, and job aids.



  • Create and run reports to analyze data trends, identify recurring issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.



  • Collaborate with IT and Business Systems teams to support system enhancements and data synchronization between Salesforce and SAP.



  • Assist with training, onboarding, and ongoing "ever-boarding" initiatives to ensure users understand current processes, tools, and data standards.



  • Support management with presentations and analysis for performance reviews and planning activities.



  • Promote a culture of data stewardship, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.



Qualifications/Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, analytics, information systems, or similar), or equivalent professional experience.



  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales operations, sales planning, sales analytics, pricing analytics, or data governance.



  • Strong organizational, communication, reporting, and presentation skills.



  • Experience with enterprise systems such as Salesforce and SAP is strongly preferred.
