Shape the people strategy for a world-class Real Assets platform that builds and transforms essential infrastructure, renewable and natural assets. You'll serve as the People and Culture Director for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) Americas and act as a strategic partner to our regional Real Assets team leadership.

What role will you play?

As the strategic business partner to our Americas Real Assets business, you'll work closely with the Regional Heads of Infrastructure, Green Investments, Private Equity & Adjacencies and Portfolio Performance, and their broader leadership teams. You'll develop a deep understanding of commercial priorities and ensure people strategies directly support the business agenda. You'll oversee seniorlevel hiring and provide leadership across the full talent lifecycle, including the annual promotion process. As a member of the leadership team, you will deliver trusted, commercially informed counsel that shapes strategic decisions for approximately 160 employees across Real Assets.
Alongside your regional remit, you'll hold senior responsibility across MAM Americas. You'll ensure strong governance, operational discipline, and consistent execution of global people strategies across multiple divisions and jurisdictions. The Americas region encompasses Brazil, Canada, Mexico, and the United States, comprising roughly 400 MAM employees.
You will lead a small team of People and Culture professionals and together, you'll oversee employment law compliance, manage HRrelated risks, and partner with divisional HR teams to advance firmwide initiatives in employee engagement, inclusion, and workforce wellness.
Salary range for this position: $240,000 - $325,000 / Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.

You bring progressive HR leadership experience and a strong track record as a strategic advisor to senior executives. This experience comes from private equity, alternative asset management, corporate finance, or similar high-performance, commercially driven financial services environments.
Success in this role requires deep expertise in alternative asset management talent markets, including senior hiring, performance management, complex compensation structures such as carry, co-invest, and incentive programs. You also understand the factors that drive retention of investment professionals in private markets and bring an international mindset, recognizing how cross regional dynamics, and cultural nuances shape workforce decisions.
To excel in the role, you'll demonstrate:
  • Executive presence. You influence senior stakeholders, build credibility quickly, and drive alignment across complex environments.
  • Sharp commercial judgement. You apply strong analytical capability and a data-driven approach, paired with the discretion needed to operate in a fast-paced business.
  • Effectiveness in matrixed organizations. You balance enterprise governance with strategic business partnership, and bring experience leading lean HR teams while remaining hands-on with critical processes.
  • Advanced HR expertise. You have a strong understanding of US employment law and multi-jurisdictional HR compliance, with experience managing HR operations across the Americas.
  • Commitment to culture and collaboration. You have a track record of advancing employee engagement, inclusion and cross-cultural collaboration, supported by strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to complex, ambiguous challenges.
