Job Description:

Reporting to executive leadership, the Driver is responsible for providing safe, secure, and discreet transportation services for Inter-Con executives. This position combines advanced driving capabilities with armed protective services, situational awareness, and a high level of polish and professionalism. The Driver operates in dynamic environments, supports executive protection objectives, and maintains strict confidentiality at all times. The ideal candidate will have prior law enforcement or military experience and a thorough understanding of protective driving principles.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely transport Inter-Con executives to business meetings, residences, airports, and special events
• Conduct route planning, alternate route analysis, and real-time traffic adjustments
• Maintain a heightened level of situational awareness and identify potential threats or suspicious activity
• Serve as an armed protective presence while maintaining a discreet, professional demeanor
• Respond appropriately to various situations in accordance with training, policy, and applicable laws
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive movements, schedules, and sensitive information
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness
• Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, fueled, and properly maintained
• Safely secure firearms and protective equipment in compliance with company policy and California law (if applicable)
• Represent Inter-Con with professionalism and integrity at all times

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Prior law enforcement, military, or executive protection experience preferred
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Valid California firearm permit (exposed or concealed), or ability to obtain (preferred)
• Demonstrated firearms proficiency and safe handling experience (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Los Angeles roadways and traffic patterns
• Ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure
• Excellent verbal communication skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Other Recommendations or Competencies

• Executive Protection experience strongly preferred
• Defensive or advanced driving training (EVOC, PSD, or equivalent)
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress environments
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
• Professional appearance and conduct consistent with executive-level support
