Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, ATM vestibules, and building perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and public areas for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter theft, fraud, workplace violence, and/or other security-related incidents.
- Screen and verify authorized entry for employees, vendors, contractors, and visitors according to site-specific procedures, including checking credentials and directing individuals to proper areas.
- Observe cash-handling areas and transport routes when assigned, maintaining a visible presence and reporting concerns through the proper channels.
- Operate surveillance cameras, alarm panels, and/or other monitoring systems as assigned; document and report system issues and observed activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications to site contacts, Allied Universal supervision, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct preliminary assessments of disturbances, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations; de-escalate when possible and coordinate additional assistance as needed.
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, patrol activity reports, and/or other required documentation in a timely manner.
- Provide directions and general assistance to customers and employees, supporting a professional environment while maintaining post coverage.
- Participate in required training and briefings, maintain required certifications for an armed post, and follow all use-of-force reporting and escalation requirements.
Minimum Requirements: - - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- - An armed guard card/license is required.
- - The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- - Be at least 21 years of age.
- - Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- - Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
