As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with team members and visitors, communicate observations clearly, and support daily operations with a people-first, customer-focused approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to location personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to Allied Universal management and/or location leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, dock, yard, and perimeter areas, including trailer lines and parking areas, as permitted by post orders.
• Perform access control duties for employee, visitor, and contractor entry, including verifying identification, following sign-in procedures, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in locations.
• Monitor inbound and outbound truck activity, assist with checking shipping documentation as directed by post orders, and report irregularities to the appropriate contacts.
• Operate and monitor CCTV, alarm, and access control systems when assigned, and communicate observed issues to Allied Universal and/or location representatives.
• Complete routine inspections of doors, gates, fencing, and lighting, and report maintenance needs and unusual conditions through the required reporting channels.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in written reports and/or electronic logs according to site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
• Support traffic flow and staging in high-volume areas by providing directions to drivers and assisting with line management when requested by location leadership.
• Work in environments that may include outdoor posts, varied weather conditions, and high vehicle and forklift traffic, following all site rules and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
