As a Security Guard - DoD Clearance Patrol in Greenlawn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as you conduct routine patrols. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, with attention to areas typical of an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Support emergency preparedness and response initiatives, participating in drills and/or actual events as directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
