As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with strong customer service and communication. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building corridors, common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter points.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit in accordance with post orders, including verifying identification and/or authorization when required.
- Observe and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized persons, and/or unusual conditions, and take appropriate action within the scope of post instructions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate significant updates to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
- Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and other physical conditions, and report maintenance concerns such as lighting outages, unsecured entries, and/or property hazards to the appropriate contact.
- Assist with tenant and visitor requests such as directions, escorts when requested, and support during building events while maintaining a professional presence.
- Operate site equipment as assigned, which may include radios, access control systems, and/or CCTV monitoring, and promptly report system issues.
- Support emergency procedures for fire, medical, severe weather, and/or other events by following site protocols, assisting with orderly movement of occupants, and documenting actions taken.
Minimum Requirements: - A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
