The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are adding a Project Coordinator to our Electrical Construction division in Seattle, Washington. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:

Project Administration:

  • Coordinate and complete project reports and deliverables.

  • Track change orders.

  • Prepare and distribute bid packages.

  • Maintain project documentation and organize network per the Project Manager's request.

  • Distribute documents to internal and external parties.

  • Assist with / lead invoice substantiation process.

  • Assist team with maintenance and archiving of project records.

  • Assist with the creation of State specific documentation.

  • Take direction to complete administrative tasks.

  • Track the risk review process and maintain the necessary paperwork throughout a project.

  • Organize network and hardcopy files.

  • Assist with labor tracking and forecasting.

Communication:

  • Attend team meetings and ensure the follow-up of resulting action items.

  • Take and publish meeting minutes as requested.

  • Communicate with Purchasing and outside vendors to order and expedite material.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reports.

  • Facilitate informational vendor reviews.

  • Manage flow of information to project management systems and stakeholders.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • High school diploma or equivalent-or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • Three (3) years of experience in administrative function or business environment preferred.

  • Prior construction administration experience preferred.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.

The pay range for this position is $24.36 - $39.28 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
