JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State Scranton is currently accepting applications for part-time research assistants at the Sustainable Communities Lab. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Subject matter research Literature review Grant writing assistance Reporting to data analytics Other duties as assigned depending on the specific project and role Educational requirements may range from a high school diploma to Ph.D. in-progress. Preferred Qualifications include, but are not limited to: Business and/or quantitative studies background Basic data analysis and processing skills Statistical analysis knowledge and expertise MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, SAS Python, web-scraping and NLP Any programming experience is a plus Willingness to learn, ability to work remotely and independently under limited supervision, strong commitment, organizational skills, and result-driven approach are a must.
