The Opportunity The SDL Strategic Military Space Division is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and govern our secure, advanced cloud architectures that support complex, mission-critical space and ground systems. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives at the intersection of AWS networking services, hybrid cloud connectivity, and secure system integration. You will be responsible for ensuring reliable, end-to-end data flow across distributed environments, bridging on-premises infrastructure, cloud platforms, and external mission partners. You will work closely with system architects, cloud engineers, cybersecurity teams, and program stakeholders-including customer Program Offices, internal engineering divisions, FFRDCs/UARCs, SETA personnel, and industry partners-to deliver trusted, mission-ready network solutions across the full system lifecycle. The Strategic & Military Space Division delivers advanced satellite and sensor systems that support the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.
