Description and Requirements

We are hiring a Data Analytics Intern to join our Strategy and Group Performance team. This role offers hands-on experience working closely with senior analytics team on real-world business problems, executive reporting, and data-driven decision-making. The intern will support ongoing analytics initiatives, help transform raw data into insights, and gain exposure to enterprise-level data platforms, reporting tools, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions
  • Assist in data analysis, validation, and storytelling for business and executive audiences
  • Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Help document analytics processes, metrics definitions, and data logic
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, IT, analytics)
  • Participate in ad-hoc analytical requests and summer project initiatives
  • Present findings and recommendations to analytics and business stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Power Bi / Qlik
  • Data cleaning and analysis experience using SQL, Python, or R
  • Ability to work with datasets to perform data validation and transform raw data into actionable insights
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Morrisville, NC at least 3 days per week
