Acara Solutions is looking for a Maintenance Technician II for one of our clients in Tempe, AZ.
Pay Range: $20-$30
Schedule: C-shift (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday 5:30pm-5:30am)

We are seeking a Multi-Skill Technician with strong electro-mechanical skills, including experience in automation and PLC systems, to support hybrid equipment manufacturing on day shift.

In this role, you will provide technical support for production, operations, and maintenance by troubleshooting and testing electronic and mechanical components, equipment, and systems. You will use schematics, diagrams, and both written and verbal instructions to perform tasks, while gathering and analyzing technical data to improve processes. If you have the ability to optimize work processes and suggest improvements, we're looking for you!

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing line or plant equipment.
  • Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
  • Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.
  • May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.
  • May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required.
  • Perform 5S housekeeping and Safety Hazards on Production equipment or work area.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED and
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant Technician experience

Nice to Have

  • Previous Medical Device Manufacturing Experience
  • Electrical and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) troubleshooting/repair experience
  • Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities on Production Equipment and timely update preventive maintenance schedule in Indysoft.
  • Perform daily check and timely update for OCAP/Floor Action Alert events when assigned
