About the Role

We are seeking an Operator, Bakery-Ingredient Prep to join our team at our Swedesboro bakery. As an Operator, Bakery-Ingredient Prep, you will be accountable for accurately preparing, measuring, and documenting ingredients according to recipe specifications to support efficient and highquality dough mixing operations.

Shift: 3rd
Hours: 10:00PM - 6:30AM
Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $20.00

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)



  • Accurately measure, weigh, label, and prepare ingredients according to product recipes while ensuring full traceability compliance.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels, storage, labeling, and organization of ingredients in prep areas and coolers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in MOVEX and verify all documentation is completed by end of shift.
  • Support continuous improvement by participating in AOE activities, root cause problemsolving, and wastereduction efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Mixer, Operators, and Production team to ensure timely ingredient delivery and efficient batch flow.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment following GMPs, food safety, Health & Safety, and PPE requirements.
  • Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, potential contamination, or unusual activity immediately to leadership.



Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)



  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to understand and follow recipes and product specifications.
  • Ability to operate and adjust mixing process controls, including reading scales and temperature measurements.
  • Basic knowledge of dough mixing and mixingequipment operation.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP scaling processes and ability to accurately document ingredients and mixing data.
  • Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with strong reasoning abilities.
  • Minimum 6 months of general labor experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to write clearly and communicate effectively in English and work with computers and operating screens.



Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)



  • Prior experience in a fastpaced production or packing environment.
  • Experience working with GMPs, food safety programs, or AOE systems.
  • Strong attention to detail in traceability and documentation processes.
  • Familiarity with ingredient scaling tools and calibration procedures.
  • Ability to train others on best practices within ingredient prep operations.
