Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily inventory operations_20%
  • Monitor and manage daily inventory transactions, including inbound receipts, outbound shipments, and internal stock transfers. Oversee daily inventory operations, including stock movements, adjustments, and reconciliations
  • Review and approve inventory adjustments to maintain data accuracy and reflect real-time stock levels.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies by investigating root causes and coordinating with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and company policies.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and systems teams to optimize inventory workflows and resolve operational issues.
  • Conduct and validate cycle counts_20%
  • Plan and execute scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventory events in coordination with warehouse operations.
  • Validate inventory results by comparing physical counts to system records and investigating discrepancies. Conduct and validate cycle counts, physical inventories, and audit processes
  • Document findings and corrective actions to maintain audit trails and support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory variances and implement preventive measures.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing accurate inventory data and responding to inquiries.

  • Communicate regularly with receiving, picking, and shipping teams to ensure inventory movements are properly documented and reflected in the system.
  • Monitor and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support operational workflows by providing inventory insights and resolving issues that impact order fulfillment or stock accuracy.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align inventory practices and share updates on stock status and challenges.
  • Assist in training team members on inventory procedures and system usage to promote consistency and accountability.
  • Maintain accurate records in inventory systems_20%.
  • Enter, update, and verify inventory transactions in TECSYS or other WMS platforms to reflect real-time stock levels.
  • Monitor system data for inconsistencies or errors and take corrective actions promptly.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records.
  • Perform routine audits and reconciliations to validate inventory accuracy.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and configuration changes related to inventory management.
  • Document procedures and maintain user guides for inventory system processes.
  • Generate inventory-related reports for leadership_20%
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret inventory data from internal systems and databases.
  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting templates to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Generate periodic and ad-hoc inventory reports tailored to the needs of leadership and other departments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and adjust outputs accordingly.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree

    Experience acceptable in lieu of degree

  • Preferred:

    Master's Degree

Experience

  • Required:

    - Five (5) or more years of job-related experience

    - Proficient in Excel and data analysis.

    - Candidate must have demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to quickly retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data.

Skills/Certifications/Licenses

  • Preferred:

    LEAN Six Sigma Certified
