Staffmark is hiring! Join a global forging company in South Gate, CA, as a Maintenance Technician. We're looking for a hands-on problem solver with experience in air compressors, hydraulics, overhead cranes, and electrical systems. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00/hr (based on experience) Shifts: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do Diagnose and repair machinery and mechanical equipment with minimal supervision Disassemble, inspect, and maintain components in hydraulic, pneumatic, and conditioning equipment Install, adjust, lubricate, and clean machinery as needed Conduct regular inspections and maintain accurate performance records Test equipment after repairs and troubleshoot operational issues Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical literature Monitor equipment conditions and use hand tools safely and effectively Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification preferred; equivalent experience accepted 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Proficient in reading hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and mechanical blueprints Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Basic math and geometry knowledge to calculate measurements and interpret data Physically able to lift 50 lbs and handle the demands of the job Why You'll Love Working Here We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, finances, and work-life balance, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
