Primary Job Summary:

Overseas and coordinates activities designed to ensure effective and economic support for the Field Service Technicians. Assured tools, PPE, test equipment, supplies, and other requirements are delivered in good order at an optimum time and cost. Help coordinate the onboarding of new technicians regarding equipment, supplies, and PPE.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions to support the purchase, receipt and distribution of all field service tools, test equipment, and calibrated instruments with urgency
  • Support Field Service Rep's safety training program and PPE along with Field Service Supervisors and EH&S Managers
  • Support new hire logistics alongside HR and Field Service Supervisor
  • Manages the quality, quantity, and cost of all service tools
  • Manages (Coordinate) instrument calibration program to maintain ISO standards
  • Coordinates with IT for service rep's cellphone, laptops, controller cabling, and needed software
  • Oversee the QMS requirements related to approved suppliers, calibrated instruments
  • Emphasize building positive relationships with all Munters customers and field service organizations
  • Oversee the assignment and purchase of Fleet Service Vehicles
  • To work with company fleet services vendor.
  • Manage Asset Tracking and GPS services for the fleet; evaluate and compare programs on a yearly basis and provide cost reporting and analysis to management and support staff.
  • Prepare a variety of reports, memoranda, and correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records and files.
  • Attend work or project-related meetings outside of normal work schedule, when requested.
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High School Diploma / 3-5 years in the HVAC industry a plus
  • Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Understand that supporting the Field Service Technician's is at a national region/level
  • Preferred to have experience with Glovia software
  • Experience working with vendors and suppliers
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision MS Office Proficiency.
  • MS Office Proficiency.

Ability to:

  • Develop cost estimates for supplies and equipment.
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Understand, interpret, analyze, and enforce department policies and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and support staff
  • Organize, implement, and direct multiple operational activities and projects.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence, procedures, and other written materials.
  • Use the computer as needed for project management, recordkeeping, communication, and documentation.
  • Standard office practices and procedures, including the operation of standard office equipment such as computers and computer software programs relevant to assigned duties.
