MU TITLE: Office Support Assistant III LOCATION: Carroll County - Carrollton, MO The University of Missouri (MU) Office of Extension and Engagement's distinct land-grant mission is to improve lives, communities, and economies by producing relevant, reliable, and responsive educational strategies throughout Missouri. Our dedicated and knowledgeable faculty and staff collaborate with researchers and community leaders to develop and deliver programs that address the needs of Missourians including: educational attainment; environmental concerns; community, economic, business and workforce development; global food systems; and health systems. This is in an in-person position located at the Carroll Extension County Office in Carrollton, MO. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As with all positions, involvement with other duties and responsibilities may be expected in order to support the mission and purpose of MU Extension. LEADERSHIP RECEIVED AND EXERCISED Works under general supervision of the Extension Engagement Specialist and County Extension Council and within procedures and guidelines. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 4:00 p.m (24 hours per week) Ability to travel and to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, is required to fulfill assigned responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Effective communication skills, customer service relations experience, attention to detail and time management, computer skills with Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Publisher. Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Anticipated Hiring Range
