Ability to examine incoming supplies to ascertain adherence to purchase order and specification requirements, make rapid and accurate mathematical calculations; physical strength sufficient to lift and move relative heavy objects.

Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position |
This position supports the Central Receiving/Warehouse Department and is responsible for receipt and campus delivery of supplies, merchandise and stock items for the University; filling orders for supply and repair parts, stocking shelves, inventory, packing and labeling. This position maintains up-to-date files and records on purchase orders and shipments received, dispensing fuels, and issues State Motor Fleet vehicles. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
*IMPORTANT: Essential personnel required to report to work during emergency situations.*

| Primary Function of Organizational Unit |
The purpose of the Materials & Property Management Department is to support the University's mission and goals by managing efficient and effective procurement of quality products to serve the needs of faculty and staff in support of the academic and research vision. This unit manages Motor Fleet coordination and provides an accurate and up-to-date inventory of land, buildings, materials, and equipment that are valued in excess of $190,000,000 for the University as well as maintain, inspect, and repair (major and minor) all gas and diesel powered University vehicles and equipment. |
