Overview

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for working with writing, editing, and overseeing the development of a wide variety of marketing content, including website and email copy, blogs, white papers, eBooks, case studies, product collateral, infographics, and checklists. This role involves collaborating heavily with product marketing managers, operations, creative, and SMEs throughout the organization to generate high-quality, rigorously edited content that drives growth.



Responsibilities

Content Creation (60%)

    Write content for marketing assets such as blogs, landing pages, emails, white papers, eBooks, case studies, and advertisements.
  • Interview and develop relationships with subject matter experts (SMEs) throughout organization to develop new content assets.
  • Collaborate with product marketing managers to update previously published content to reflect new metrics, proof points, and differentiators.
  • Assist in developing marketing campaign strategies in collaboration with supervisor and product marketing managers.

SEO and Social Media (10%)

  • Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO) initiatives for Cotiviti website, blog, and resource center.
  • Assist in content creation and management of social media platforms as needed.

Brand Consistency and Quality Control (30%)

  • Manage review process for content, ensuring all appropriate stakeholders have signed off before publication.
  • Ensure content conforms to style Guide and brand voice.
  • Assist in auditing and managing website and blog content, working with supervisor and other colleagues to keep it fresh, relevant, and optimized for search (e.g., keyword selection, tagging, and images).
  • Perform peer reviews of content drafted by other writers.
  • Assist more junior team members in developing writing skills and provides guidance as a mentor.

General

  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years' content development experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Reliable, driven, and able to prioritize and deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
  • Effective collaborator across all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, independent judgment, and solution-oriented thinking.

Base compensation ranges from $85,000 to $105,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
