ABOUT THE ROLE

This role serves as a hands-on Field Foreman responsible for leading the planning, repair, and modification of precast concrete structures. The Foreman works directly with wood, metal, and concrete materials using a variety of hand and power tools while actively supervising labor crews in the field. This position is responsible for setting the daily pace of work, coordinating with contractors, Wells team members, and crew members, and driving efficient production to meet project goals, all while reporting to the Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Lead field crews in concrete patching, finishing, and repair operations
  • Coordinate daily work activities with Field Supervisors and project teams
  • Read and interpret blueprints, brace plans, piece tickets, and repair drawings
  • Execute surface repairs, blending, and finishing to match architectural requirements
  • Perform structural and cosmetic repairs including reinforcement and epoxy injection
  • Operate and oversee use of sandblasters, pressure washers, and finishing tools
  • Plan jobsite access, equipment needs, and work sequencing for field operations
  • Transport, organize, and track tools, materials, and equipment on site
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
  • Complete required jobsite documentation and daily reporting
  • Train, direct, and supervise laborers and crew members
  • Maintain quality control and ensure finished work meets project standards
  • Identify field issues and implement practical solutions in real time
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project completion


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled concrete finisher and field leader who takes pride in delivering high-quality repair and restoration work. They are confident leading crews, interpreting repair plans, and solving field challenges in real time. This individual is safety-driven, detail-oriented, and committed to producing durable, visually consistent, and high-standard concrete finishes.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE



  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of precast, concrete repair, or finishing experience
  • Prior leadership or foreman experience preferred
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Strong knowledge of precast construction and repair methods
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and repair drawings
  • Experience with concrete finishing, patching, and surface restoration
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and surface prep equipment
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety and OSHA regulations
  • Ability to work at heights using lifts, scaffolding, and ladders
  • Strong leadership, communication, and crew management skills
  • Willingness to travel and work in varying weather conditions


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
  • Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
  • Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.
