Position Title: Printing Press Operator
Wage: $18.50 - $20.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 1:00pm - 9:00pm (Monday - Friday) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Printing Press Operator at a company in Elkhart Lake, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift. Apply today! Printing Press Operator Responsibilities: - Operating and monitoring label printing equipment in accordance with SOP's and production schedules to ensure efficient workflow - Preparing machines with appropriate materials including paper, ink, and cores - Performing machine setup and calibration to maintain accurate and consistent print quality - Monitoring alignment, color accuracy, and overall quality - Conducting routine inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications and requirements - Maintaining accurate records of machine settings, production output, and quality results - Reporting discrepancies, defects, and operational concerns - Assisting with material staging, loading, and unloading as needed Requirements for Printing Press Operator: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous printing or machine operation experience preferred - Ability to read and interpret job sheets, specifications and layouts - Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours; frequently lifting/moving 40-50 pounds and performing repetitive movements - Basic math skills sheboygan@qpsemployment.com IND045 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
