As a Survey Manager/Sr. Surveyor in theVancouveroffice, this leadership role willassistwith the oversight and management of the Survey Department including project scheduling, budgets, proposals, and business development. Our multi-disciplinary team at Apex services local and regional clients in many diversified, exciting projects such as Master Plan Developments, Long Plats, ALTA Surveys, renewable energy, and public land survey system sites to name a few.



  • Salary:$130,000 - $155,000 annually

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum qualifications:



  • Washington state registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
  • 5+years' experience overseeing and performing land surveys as a registered PLS
  • Experience in office production including boundary, topographic and construction surveying
  • Experience in business development
  • Proficiencyin Autodesk Civil3D and Carlson Survey
  • Aspiration for growth opportunities including taking on management responsibilities
  • Valid driver's license


PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Oversee theVancouverSurvey Department and projects
  • Oversee and perform land survey and mapping functions
  • Supervise Survey Technicians and survey field crews
  • Plan and coordinate work of field staff
  • Review and certify completed work to satisfy project requirements
  • Work with Apex Clients toidentifyproject needs and prepare scope and fee proposals
  • Secureadditionalsurvey projects
