We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician located in Odessa, TX. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical of facility systems and equipment

  • Understand basics of industrial electrical - single phase and 3 phase power

  • Experience in basic carpentry, painting and site make ready

  • Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworker

  • Other duties as required

  • Maintains confidentiality of all matters.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent or technical training

  • At least 21 years of age and meet company driving standard

  • Have good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of methods, practices, and techniques of maintaining building and facilities required.

  • Able to perform facility painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical repairs, and office/site make ready.

  • Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements

  • Encourage action assuring safe behavior

  • Challenge unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively

  • Regularly and predictably attend work and be punctual

  • Possess good organization and time management skills

  • Work in an unsupervised environment

  • Read, write, and speak English fluently

  • Use a computer to communicate, create, and access information

  • Promote continual improvement culture

  • Relevant experience in performing preventative maintenance in a manufacturing or field service in the oil and gas settings preferred

  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

  • Employee is required to occasionally walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.

  • Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push.

  • Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.

  • Some work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.

  • Some work is accomplished outdoors in a variety of weather and temperature conditions.

  • Work will require visits to company's Permian locations inside and outside of Midland/Odessa.

  • Work normally is not executed in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
