Position Title: Shipping Coordinator
Wage: $22.22-$23.12 per hour Shift: Mid Hours: 10:00am-6:00pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Shipping Coordinator position available at a company in Belleville, WI. This is a mid-shift position with the opportunity for hire. Shipping Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Coordinate between Customer Service, Manufacturing and Freight Carriers, daily shipments of cases. - Perform daily computer transactions in Avante and Excel, in real-time, to accurately populate the shipping backlog view. - Dispatch multiple truck lines daily to schedule pick-ups. - Complete all associated paperwork with daily shipment of cases. - Loading and unloading trucks (physically receiving product, validating contents against the incoming truck bill and notating any discrepancies). - Coordinate with receiving personnel and water spiders purchased parts receiving activities. - Communicate with supervision, planners, buyers, and/or QC Inspector on any quality issues observed. - Assist in packaging and crating of cases. - Assist with Wood Mill/Crate makers on daily crating needs based on daily shipping priorities. - Assist Refrigeration on sequence of cases based on daily shipping priorities. - Other duties as assigned. Shipping Coordinator Requirements: - Strong product knowledge. - Current computer skills (or the ability to train) in Avante (ERP), Outlook (email), and Excel (spreadsheets). - Good oral and written comprehension and communication skills including over the phone, via email and in person. - Proactive in recognizing quality issues to minimize late shipments and maximize customer service. - Forklift certification required. - Ability to be cross trained in other areas. - Qualification period may be extended to assess performance in position. - Ability to use hand tools and power tools. - Solo lift up to 50 pounds regularly. - Team lift 51 -100 pounds frequently. monroe@qpsemployment.com IND038 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
