JOB SUMMARY The Commercial Development Coordinator & Projects is responsible for driving commercial project execution, coordinating intercompany sales, delivering sales analytics, managing website-generated leads, and supporting strategic commercial initiatives. The role ensures visibility of commercial performance, supports cross-functional alignment, and enhances operational efficiency. Additionally, the position acts as a key communication link between Planning and Customer Service by ensuring accurate production plan follow-up and timely dissemination of updates. Participate in the Sales Budget & Growth Play Book. Participate and execute growth projects for Internal OEMs and growth initiatives. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Project Coordination & Commercial Initiatives
- Coordinate and manage commercial projects with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Product Line teams.
- Track project timelines, milestones, risks, and communication flow.
- Support new product initiatives, business case development, and commercial improvement programs.
- Consolidate commercial and technical information required for planning and decision-making.
2. Sales Analysis & Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for sales activity, backlog, intercompany movement, and market trends.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities, risks, and performance variances.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc analytical support to Sales, Product Line, and management.
- Ensure accuracy of data in SAP, CRM, and all reporting tools.
3. Intercompany Sales Management
- Act as the main coordinator for intercompany transactions across Prolec-GE, Waukesha, and GE affiliates.
- Ensure & Capture proper documentation and requirements for intercompany demand, orders, and shipments.
- Collaborate with Planning, Logistics, Operations, and Finance to facilitate flow of intercompany sales.
- Track KPIs such as cycle times, forecast accuracy, and intercompany delivery performance.
- Maintain alignment with corporate intercompany procedures.
- Assist Accounts Receivable with follow-up on past-due invoices while maintaining strong customer relationships.
4. Market, Product, and Competitor Insights
- Collect market and competitive intelligence related to product features, industry trends, and lead times.
- Prepare structured summaries for Sales, Product Line, and Commercial Development.
- Support development of market insights and strategic commercial reports.
- Monitor industry and market indicators impacting components demand.
5. Support to Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations
- Provide documentation, customer data, and sales analysis for internal commercial reviews.
- Support marketing initiatives such as product literature updates, training materials, and digital content.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to obtain technical data for commercial activities.
- Prepare materials for business reviews, strategic plans, and executive presentations.
6. Continuous Improvement & System Optimization
- Identify improvement opportunities in reporting, workflows, and commercial processes.
- Support enhancements to SAP, CRM, and business intelligence tools used by the Commercial organization.
- Maintain updated SOPs, procedures, and documentation for commercial operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities supporting commercial effectiveness.
7. Website Sales & Lead Management
- Manage, track, and prioritize all leads generated through the company website, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to route leads based on customer type and product line.
- Analyze digital inquiry trends, website demand patterns, and engagement metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversion statistics, and digital commercial performance.
- Support initiatives to improve website engagement, inquiry forms, and online sales opportunities.
8. Production Plan Follow-Up & Cross-Functional Communication
- Monitor production plans, weekly output schedules, and build status to ensure accurate commercial visibility.
- Act as the communication bridge between the Planning team and the Customer Service team.
- Consolidate updates from Planning and distribute clear, timely information to Customer Service regarding production constraints, revisions, risks, and committed dates.
- Support alignment between production capacity and commercial priorities by facilitating structured communication.
- Provide weekly production-commercial updates to leadership and internal stakeholders.
9. LTC - Training Courses
- Coordinate successful delivery of customer facing training classes (i.e. catering, event planning, logistics etc.)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales analytics, intercompany coordination, or project management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SAP, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and commercial support roles.
Required Education / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 3-5 years sales and customer service experience
- Technical and analytical aptitude
Preferred Education / Experience
- BS/BA in related discipline (engineering, business, marketing, etc.)
- BSEE Power Systems emphasis
