Description
Coakley & Williams Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent, Corporate Interiors to lead on-site operations for fast-paced commercial interior renovation, tenant improvement, and build-out projects.
The Superintendent is responsible for safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, field leadership, and daily project execution. This role works closely with the Project Manager and project team to deliver corporate interiors projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements. The successful candidate will understand the demands of shorter-duration interiors work, including phased construction, occupied environments, detailed finishes, compressed schedules, off-hours work, and time-sensitive turnovers. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-visibility corporate interiors projects where strong field execution has a direct impact on the client experience, project quality, schedule performance, and profitability. Corporate interiors work moves quickly and requires close coordination across owners, designers, building management teams, subcontractors, vendors, and occupants. Superintendents in this business line play a central role in solving problems, maintaining momentum, and delivering polished spaces under demanding schedules. Compensation and BenefitsIn accordance with the Maryland Wage Transparency Law, the base salary range for this position is: $90,000 to $150,000 annually Final compensation will be based on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, education, skills, and training. This position is primarily based on active construction sites. Employees must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend, and move throughout the jobsite. The role may require lifting, carrying, or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees may work around heavy machinery, construction equipment, hazardous materials, noise, dust, and changing weather conditions. A minimum of 40 hours per week is required. Work schedules may vary based on project needs and may include early mornings, evenings, nights, or weekends. Corporate interiors projects may also require off-hours work to accommodate occupied facilities, shutdowns, inspections, building operations, and accelerated turnover schedules.
