Champaign Raleigh We are seeking thoughtful and technically driven Technical Architects to join our design studios in Champaign, Illinois and Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who brings strong technical expertise, leadership in project delivery, and a commitment to design excellence. As a Technical Architect, you will contribute across all phases of project delivery - providing technical oversight, coordination leadership, and production management from concept through construction. You will play a key role in translating design intent into well-executed, high-performing buildings while ensuring quality, code compliance, and documentation excellence. Responsibilities Lead technical development and documentation across all phases of project delivery. Provide expertise in building systems integration, detailing, and code compliance. Manage and coordinate project production efforts to ensure accuracy and quality. Collaborate closely with design leaders, consultants, and internal disciplines. Support project scheduling, scope alignment, and documentation standards. Contribute to mentorship and knowledge-sharing within the studio. Work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment. Qualifications Professional degree in Architecture 15+ years of architectural experience Demonstrated experience in project and production management. Established experience across all phases of project delivery Excellent technical skills, including strong code knowledge. Proficiency in Revit.
