Overview

The Onboarding Specialist manages the onboarding process for all PharMerica positions. She/he performs various tasks, including data entry, scheduling background checks, pre-employment testing, and monitoring of employee files in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. She/he will possess excellent customer service, judgment, and problem-solving skills.



Responsibilities

    Own and ensure a positive candidate / new hire experience for all new hires, including nurses into the home health line of business, focusing on clinical hires
  • Coordinate all communication between hiring team and candidates (HR Team, Hiring Manager, Talent Acquisition Team and Candidates)
  • Support candidates through hiring paperwork and onboarding process to ensure seamless simple process for candidates including offer letters, background checks, MVR, reference checks
  • Provide education and information to new hires to ensure a positive onboarding and engagement experience
  • Be the expert on onboarding systems and tools, including the ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
  • Understand and ensure accurate system input of new hires
  • Show a heightened sense of urgency to get candidates on board - extremely responsive to candidate needs
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent related experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in administrative support or recruiting
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills with an attention to detail
  • Experience in establishing high standards of service delivery to customers and clients
  • Knowledge of HR and EEOC policies is helpful
  • Ability to react quickly and with a sense of urgency to requests, issues, e-mails, or other events in a timely and flexible fashion
