USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our team. This position will be located in our Cranbury, NJ location.



Summary


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business operations and IT systems.


Key Responsibilities


  • Partner with supply chain and operations teams to improve purchasing decisions, including inventory rationalization and preferred vendor analysis



  • Perform gap analyses to identify new sales opportunities and cost reduction initiatives for warehouse operations



  • Participate in process optimization projects to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency



  • Analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools to identify trends and areas for improvement



  • Apply financial metrics to prioritize initiatives that generate the highest return



  • Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams



  • Identify and evaluate preferred vendor partners based on service metrics and business relationships; maintain and strengthen vendor partnerships



  • Prioritize and implement improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals



  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop strategic recommendations that enhance supply chain performance



  • Travel as needed to conduct vendor evaluations and support operational initiatives




Skills & Qualifications


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Eclipse ERP strongly preferred



  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior leadership



  • Strong understanding of supply chain and operations principles



  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency



  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills across departments



  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills to prioritize and execute improvement initiatives



  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent related experience



  • Experience in vendor relationship management strongly preferred



  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
