Position Overview:

Assist Kennesaw Facilities Staff in the daily coordination of various functions to include: SDS database, coordination of paperwork and work orders for Facilities, assistance with event planning, coordination of Purchase Orders and Asset requests, coordination of Facilities related Service Agreements, etc.

Responsibilities:



  1. Maintain Safety Data Sheet database.
  2. Create and track work orders in system, run reports.
  3. Create Purchase Requisitions, code and approve invoices, submit new vendor/asset requests.
  4. Maintain service contracts; keep vendor files, assist with vendor training.
  5. Serve as OSHA Secretary; participate on the Safety Committee, coordinate safety audits, administer New Hire Safety Training, and organize miscellaneous safety training.
  6. Oversee market, coffee, and fruit. Manage first aid inventory and distribution. Order office supplies and uniforms for Facilities.
  7. Coordinate all functions of hazardous waste disposal. Maintain certification for hazardous waste disposal and DOT.
  8. Maintain monthly calendar for Facilities and Security.
  9. Manage vendor badge training and vendor badge creation.


Qualifications:



  1. Bachelors or Associates degree in relevant technical field or equivalent work experience.
  2. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software with experience with document control and contract management platforms.
  3. Must be able to maintain a high activity level and be able to effectively manage and prioritize numerous projects and responsibilities.
  4. Experience with electronic asset management software preferred.
