Human Resources (HR) Coordinator

Regions Hospital is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide essential administrative and operational support across key human resources functions. This role supports both the Employee and Labor Relations and HR Business Partner teams and plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant HR operations.

The HR Coordinator partners closely with HR leaders and consultants to support documentation, case tracking, reporting, meeting coordination, and special projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, working independently, and contributing to process improvements that support a positive employee experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide administrative and operational support across HR functions, including maintaining accurate, confidential files and documentation.
  • Support daily HR operations through scheduling, meeting coordination, and general administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and track documentation related to employee relations and compliance matters (e.g., corrective action, grievances, severances, unemployment, subpoenas, payroll inquiries).
  • Collect and organize information for HR consultants, legal, and compliance partners; triage basic ER/LR inquiries as appropriate.
  • Perform HRIS data entry, compliance tracking, and generate reports such as employee histories, timelines, and union seniority lists.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field or one year of related HR or administrative experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, multifunctional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with HRIS systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of related HR or administrative experience.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, compliance, or legal processes.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and procedures.

Work Schedule:

This is a fulltime (1.0 FTE) role with a Monday through Friday schedule and the potential for a hybrid work arrangement, based on business needs.
