The Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst with a focus on Digital Transformation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in leading client engagements focused on leveraging Salesforce to optimize business processes, enhance constituent experiences, and modernize legacy systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement Salesforce solutions that deliver on client's needs and continue to shape our Salesforce practice and digital transformation strategy.

Work You'll Do

  • Lead efforts to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Salesforce solutions, supporting digital transformation goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and priorities and recommend Salesforce customizations and configurations that drive efficiency and innovation
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and process flows aligned to Salesforce best practices
  • Partner with Salesforce architects and developers to design and implement Salesforce workflows, reports, dashboards, and custom objects that align with broader digital transformation efforts
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment of Salesforce solutions with the organization's needs and serving as a trusted advisor
  • Support configuration, testing, and deployment activities including UAT planning and execution
  • Support business development activities including solutioning, level of effort estimates, and proposal development
  • Contribute to the growth of the AArete's Salesforce practice by refining and developing templates, accelerators, and delivery standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom applications
  • Ability to gather and document business requirements and translate them into user stories and technical specifications
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, including workflows, process builders, and custom objects
  • Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders at various levels
  • Willingness to engage in direct client interaction, including travel to client location
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Preferred Requirements

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, Administrator or Advanced Administrator
  • Familiarity with custom application development within the Salesforce platform
  • Understanding of data migration and integration techniques
  • Based in Chicago, IL, and flexible to work from our Chicago office as needed

The estimated base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. In addition to this base salary, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This range is a part of a competitive, total compensation package together with our majority employer-paid benefits and incentive pay for eligible roles. Please note that this range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary due to numerous factors, including but not limited to experience level, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
