Overview

Microsoft's Office of Strategy and Transformation is seeking a SeniorDirector, Enterprise Transformation to help advance Microsoft's evolution into a Frontier Firm - defined by the ability to continuously learn, rapidly improve, and scale value creation through AI and operational excellence. This role sits at the center of the company's most critical transformation priorities.

Our team uses Continuous Improvement (CI) as our core operating system. We apply structured problem solving, systems thinking, and data-driven execution to complex, enterprise-wide challenges. While we leverage CI methodologies, traditional Lean or CI backgrounds are not required. What matters is a demonstrated ability to think rigorously, lead complex work systematically, and deliver measurable outcomes. We look for leaders who are never satisfied with the status quo, can manage multiple priorities under pressure, and will deliver results at pace.

As a leader on the CI team, you will tackle complex, enterprise-wide problems, modernize end-to-end workflows, and embed AI-enabled operating models that improve quality, speed, and business performance. You will influence senior leaders across the organization, create clarity amid ambiguity, and build momentum behind Microsoft's most strategic transformations.

If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, operations, AI, and large-scale change, this is an opportunity to do the most consequential work of your career-helping shape how a modern, AI-powered enterprise operates.

Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
