Exciting opportunity at MSK: Join our team as aClinical Research Coordinator!We'relooking foradynamic clinical researchprofessional to work onclinical trial dataand datamanagementin the Clinical Genetics Service. ThisCRC willspecifically support research for people living with hereditary cancer-predisposinggenetic mutations, such as Lynch Syndrome and Li-Fraumeni Syndrome.This role will contribute toresearchthatallowsus to continuously learn about the people and diseases we help treat.

Role Overview:

  • Coordinatedevelopment, approval, and executionofclinical research protocols and serve as the main point of contact, if applicable.

  • Conduct informedconsentconversations with potential research study participants.

  • Collect, abstract, and enter data for research projects, databases, and/or protocols (clinical trials) and ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Collaborate with research and care teams across MSKregardingparticipant enrollment andstudy management.

  • Createdata, progress,andregulatoryreports and deliver them to all vital parties on the progress of the research project, database, or protocol.

  • Design and/or improveExcel andREDCapdatabases, data forms, and tools (e.g.patient/human subject calendars, schedules, tracking logs) tofacilitatepatient consent and specimen collection as needed for assigned research projects.

  • Travel between MSK locations in Manhattan to transfer materials, as needed.

  • Review and lightly edit manuscripts and posters for scientific journals and conferences.

  • Ensure allappropriate Institutional, State, and Federal regulations throughout the study are followed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficiencywith Excel and experience working with spreadsheets isrequired.

  • Healthcare/research experience is a plus.

  • EPICandREDCapexperience is a plus.

  • Ability to work independentlyon a variety of tasksand meet deadlinesfor several projects simultaneously.

  • Passion aboutparticipatingincutting-edgeresearch in genetics and cancer.

  • Excellent communication skills, including professional communication with patients, their families, doctors, and researchers.

Additional Information:

  • Location: 222 E. 70th Street, travel between MSK locations as needed.

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. Hybrid (mix of onsite and remote work)

  • Reporting to theClinical Genetics Service Research Project Managerin the Clinical Research Administration

  • Commitment for at least 2 years

Pay Range: $26.21 - $39.24 FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
