Exciting Opportunity at MSK: For over 50 years, MSK's Bone Marrow Transplant Program has been at the forefront of transplant research and patient care. We are looking for a Program Coordinator to join the team and play a key role in supporting patients, families, and clinical teams through the donor search and transplant process.

Role Overview:

  • Manage all aspects of unrelated donor and umbilical cord blood searches and procurement through the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) and international registries.

  • Analyze Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) results to lead donor search strategies and identify optimal donor or cord blood options.

  • Serve as a primary contact for patients, physicians, and internal and external partners, including MSKCC Histocompatibility Laboratory and donor centers.

  • Coordinate donor testing and sample shipment, including buccal swab kits.

  • Support transplant and cellular therapy scheduling processes.

  • Track and maintain accurate donor and patient data, ensuring compliance with protocols and timelines.

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a bone marrow transplant-related role.

  • Proficiency with computers and data management software, including Excel spreadsheets.

  • Excellent information management, analytical, administrative, verbal, and written communication skills.

Core Skills:

  • Build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and external partners to ensure smooth, patient-focused donor search and transplant processes.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences, adapting your approach to meet varying needs.

  • Work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Stay current on donor search protocols and emerging trends to continuously improve processes and outcomes.

Additional Information:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

  • Location: David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care - hybrid schedule (remote work may be considered for the right candidate based on departmental needs).

Pay Range: $61,300.00 - $95,100.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
