Salary:

FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this role is $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, with actual compensation based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Operator II / Shipping Clerk at US20 Harvey plays a critical dual role supporting both physical warehouse operations and system-driven shipping execution. This position is responsible not only for safe material handling, but also for accurate SAP transactions, inventory control, and Post Goods Issue (PGI) processing to ensure on-time, accurate customer shipments.

Given the volume and complexity at US20 (plant + primary shipping location), this role requires strong computer proficiency and the ability to operate confidently within SAP and Excel while supporting daily warehouse execution.

Your Responsibilities:

Are you organized, safety-conscious, and ready to be part of a team that keeps operations running smoothly? As a Warehouse Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products are shipped accurately and efficiently to customers around the world.

Warehouse Operations



  • Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Pick, stage, load, and verify outbound shipments
  • Receive and put away inbound materials and finished goods
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Maintain organized and safe warehouse conditions
  • Support truck loading from ASRS and floor locations as required


SAP & Shipping Execution



  • Execute shipping transactions in SAP (VL02N, VL06O, etc.)
  • Perform and validate Post Goods Issue (PGI) transactions
  • Process inventory movements and stock transfers
  • Confirm delivery documents, pick status, and staging accuracy
  • Support troubleshooting of blocked deliveries or shipping discrepancies
  • Ensure system accuracy aligns with physical inventory movements
  • Assist with STO processing and warehouse replenishment coordination
  • Organize product containers for final shipping, maintaining proper inventory rotation
  • Generate shipping documentation in SAP, including batch numbers and quantities
  • Record shipping transactions in SAP (PRO numbers, freight charges, carrier info)


Administrative & System Support



  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track shipments, inventory variances, and operational metrics
  • Maintain shipping logs and documentation accuracy
  • Communicate with Transportation and Customer Service teams regarding shipment readiness
  • Validate that orders are confirmed and ready before carrier arrival
  • Support exposure tracking and priority shipment identification when required



What We're Looking For:



  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
  • Experience in the chemical/lubricant industry preferred


  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
  • Working knowledge of SAP shipping and inventory transactions
