About the American College of Surgeons The American College of Surgeons (ACS) is a professional and educational organization of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to raise the standards of surgical practice and improve the quality of care for surgical patients. Our Mission Our Vision Summary: Support and further expand a robust grassroots and PAC network, including enhanced advocacy and political programming through various strategic efforts and activities. Primary responsibilities include planning, implementing and executing existing grassroots and PAC programming to further educate and engage surgeon advocates; drafting content to complement existing programming; and developing additional recruitment tools and techniques to broaden and strengthen grassroots network and increase PAC participation. This exempt position will report to the Manager, Political and Grassroots Engagement, in the ACS Division of Advocacy & Health Policy (DAHP). It is based in our Washington, DC office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote. The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with related experience). Primary Responsibilities:
