Billing Specialist

CEI Engineering Associates in Bentonville, AR, is looking to hire a part-time billing specialist to work on-site at our company headquarters in Bentonville, AR.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BILLING SPECIALIST

The billing specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing accurate, timely client invoices in a project-based engineering environment. You will use your strong understanding of contract-driven billing, time and expense reporting, work-in-progress (WIP), and close coordination with Project Managers to ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies. You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing accurate and timely client invoices.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BILLING SPECIALIST

• Strong understanding of project-based billing and contract interpretation
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and basic reporting)
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Experience with Deltek (Vision or Vantagepoint),
• Experience in billing public sector or municipal clients
• 2+ years of billing experience is preferred with an understanding of the engineering, architecture, construction, or professional services environment
