We are looking for a quality-minded individuals who can run production on our Fanuc-robotic Lapping Cell.

Qualifications:

2 years of full-time operator skills on either CNC machining equipment, manual lapping, Blanchard Grinding, CNC Surface Grinding, CNC ID/OD Grinding or other robotic automated processing is a plus
Ability to do some basic trouble shooting of production processes
Industrial math skills, ability to read drawings and use gages
Ability to follow specific work instructions
Maintain quality and output standards
Possess a high performance and continuous improvement mindset
Mechanically inclined and possess basic PC skills

This is a one-person operation with openings on our 2^nd and 3^rd shifts, however training for the first 30 days will occur on 1st shift. Once fully trained, you will move to your respective shift and have responsibility for production on the automated lapping cell including output and quality of product. As the only automation operator on the shift, you must be responsible and resourceful with prior skills. The qualified person will be responsible for maintaining the process to produce parts to specifications at the production rates, perform basic equipment cleaning and maintenance. Prior experience with gauging and experience in Precision Surface grinding, Blanchard Grinding or Lapping/Honing is strongly preferred. Exposure to robotics or automated equipment is also preferred.
