SEI's Asset Management Unit has an immediate opening for a Senior Investment Strategist to work on the Client Advice Team and support the Private Wealth Management business. SEI Private Wealth Management (PWM) is a multi-family office, which delivers an innovative and complete wealth management offering to individuals and families that have a net worth exceeding $10 million. Advisory Services include Investment Management, Financial Management and Reporting, Legacy and Estate Planning as well as Aggregated Reporting.

This position requires a highly organized individual who can create client advice, balance many tasks and remain focused on deadlines. The successful candidate will work directly with the ULTRA and High Net Worth (UHNW/HNW) client segment/service team and other planning experts. This role provides advisory solutions in the areas of investments, cash strategies (liquidity), options analysis, asset allocation and performance analysis.

What you will do:

  • Be the primary point of contact within the Advice Team for Private Wealth Management business and work directly with UHNW/HNW clients.
  • Create goal-directed investment strategies that support client outcomes. Includes Multi-goal, Multi-portfolio design, portfolio allocation, asset location and tax management strategies, portfolio construction and implementation.
  • Evaluate prospect and client portfolios including performance, risk, allocation, tax and/or attribution analysis.
  • Monitor portfolio for alignment to goals-based investment policy, client suitability and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide support to service team for investment related issues including on-site client meetings.
  • Construct client investment materials; as needed.
  • Maintain familiarity with entire SEI Investment Product suite and technologies (Morningstar, Black Diamond, Factset, GL, etc.)
  • Monitor adherence of client portfolios to PWM investment models.

What we need from you:

  • BA/BS degree in related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience
  • CFA Certification
  • A minimum of 10 years industry related experience with management experience
  • Broad investment knowledge of equity, fixed income and alternative asset classes and portfolio design for HNW/UHNW market.
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in all SEI investment strategies
  • Ability to effectively explain complex investment strategies in understandable terms.
  • Detailed oriented, flexible, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
