Our Mission

Our mission is to SAVE AND IMPROVE LIVES BY EMPOWERING HEALTHCARE CONSUMERS. Come be part of remarkable.

Overview

How you can make a difference

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Marketplace Partnerships to lead the ecosystem and operations of our Marketplace. This role is strategic owner of the supply side of our managed marketplace. You will be responsible for running and scaling a diverse portfolio of partners (e.g., medical weight loss, women's health) while simultaneously driving the operating model that maximizes member retention and experience. You will take a systems-level view of our partner network, identifying opportunities to elevate the shared user experience, shape their operations, drive data exchange, coordinate member engagement and outreach, and ultimately deliver lower churn and higher NPS. This role will co-create the product and process roadmaps that allow our partners to thrive within the HealthEquity ecosystem.

What you'll be doing

Ecosystem Strategy & Architecture: Define the long-term vision for how HealthEquity integrates, manages, and optimizes third-party marketplace partners. You will design scalable frameworks that allow us to add new program, product or services without reinventing the wheel for each launch.
  • Partner Performance & Retention Ownership: You own the "quality of the shelf." You will drive the metrics that matter-specifically member churn within partner programs-by diagnosing friction points in the user journey and influencing partner product and operations teams to optimize.
  • Operational Excellence at Scale: You will prioritize the development of partner portals, automated reporting APIs, and billing integrations tools that reduce operational overhead and make your (and stakeholders) lives easier.
  • Strategic Partner Development: Serve as a trusted advisor to all leadership teams. You will leverage data to show them where where our solution is underperforming and collaborate on solutions, turning "vendor management" conversations into strategic product planning sessions.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives involving Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Marketing. You will ensure that as we scale the marketplace, we remain compliant and aligned with our broader corporate strategy.

What you will need to be successful

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong track record in Platform Product, Partner Management, or B2B2C Marketplaces.
  • Partner / Merchant Leadership: You know the rhythm of merchants and white label partners and can build mental models of their business levers, operatjons, retention strategies. You know when something should be best served from a partner or from HealthEquity and can drive the right "win win" change in either organization - quickly.
  • Systems Thinking: You can visualize the entire ecosystem-from the API call to the member's outcome-and identify where the leverage points are. You build for the "general case," not just the specific exception.
  • Operational Rigor: You have a low tolerance for inefficiency. You have a history of automating workflows and "productizing" operations.
  • Technical & Data Fluency: You are comfortable diving into API documentation (REST/FHIR) to understand feasibility, and you can query data (SQL/Tableau) to answer your own questions about partner performance.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Marketplace Experience: Previous success managing the supply side of a two-sided marketplace. You understand the delicate balance of liquidity, quality control, and merchant economics.
    • DTC Healthcare Experience: Familiarity with Direct-to-Consumer and healthcare subscriptions models (telehealth, wellness). You understand the specific retention challenges and regulatory constraints (like HIPAA) unique to patient-facing products.
