Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking an early career Technical Program Engineer to join our growing engineering and AI Ecosystem team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who enjoys hands-on technical work, learning new systems quickly, and being the person who actually knows where things are and how they work. You'll support internal engineering teams, security teams, and third-party agent partners by programming, maintaining, tracking, and distributing PCs, phones, and hardware prototypes. As our third-party agent ecosystem expands aggressively through 2026, this role will be critical to keeping devices, software, and processes running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program and configure PCs and mobile phones for third-party agent partners, security teams, and internal engineering teams
  • Support onboarding of new employees by setting up and teaching device programming, particularly for Chicago-based teams
  • Maintain and update PCs and phones deployed in the field, including OS updates and reconfiguration
  • Manage and track hardware prototypes, including inventory, distribution to engineering teams, and coordinating returns from inactive partners
  • Serve as a central point of support for prototype logistics in collaboration with engineering and program stakeholders
  • Provide general technical support and assist with other operational tasks as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable working with PCs, mobile devices, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS)
  • Basic understanding of device provisioning, software installation, and troubleshooting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn quickly and take ownership of hands-on technical tasks

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $70,000 - $95,000. Individuals will also eligible for a 12% annual performance bonus. This role will join us at our Chicago, IL location on a hybrid schedule onsite 3 days/week. Lenovo's various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
