Role: Administrative / Financial Support

Location: Dayton, OH

Salary: $40-45k/year + comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conducts data entry into payment systems for materials orders (subscriptions, books, serials, supplies, etc.)
  • Verify and track financial charges
  • Assists with administrative tasks on customer budgets and spending, customer financial reports, and engage with Corporate Finance
  • Package, verify, and track orders for fulfillment; collate and distribute mail
  • Clerical database manipulation and data input related to statistics, reporting, usage, budgeting
  • Assist analysts in collection of data / inputs for reports
  • Engage / support library web site users on routine and administrative tasks
  • Coordinate schedules and meetings/ making arrangements for visitors
  • Inventory and replenish office supplies as needed
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Performs other tasks as assigned to meet clerical and other administrative and processing needs

Required Skills/Experience:

  • A High School diploma or a GED and at least 3-5 years' experience providing administrative support
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Proficient in English
  • Demonstrate proficiency with office production software (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge with Adobe and creation and manipulation of .pdf documents
  • Administrative and book-keeping experience, particularly financial book-keeping
  • Maintain diplomatic and professional relations with coworkers and others

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Familiarity with Foreign Language(s) is a plus
  • Familiarity with government contracting a plus
  • Knowledge of general office IT a plus
