Security Officer - Full Time - Factory

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Woodstock, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with a customer-service mindset. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns through approved channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, loading and delivery areas, and the perimeter, with working conditions varying by assignment.
• Control access points by monitoring foot and vehicle traffic, verifying authorization as required, and directing visitors to designated areas in accordance with site policies.
• Complete routine security-related documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6+ months of security experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
