Security Officer - Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Swiftwater, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help reduce security-related incidents. You will complete routine rounds, stay highly visible, document and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and coordinate visitor check-in, badge control, and/or delivery processing in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete shift activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate observations, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the oncoming officer and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
