Job Description
Job Summary/Purpose: The Property Accounting Associate supports the accounting team by maintaining accurate records of the company's property, equipment, and other longterm assets. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and learning how financial information drives business decisions. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain and update the fixed asset subledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness including creating and closing work orders Review and process construction contractor invoicing Record asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and adjustments in accordance with company policies Assist with monthly depreciation calculations and reconciliations Assist with personal property tax process including preparation of annual forms, processing of tax invoices, and maintaining prepayment amortization schedules Support monthend and yearend close activities related to fixed assets Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits Monitor capital project spending and ensure proper capitalization Help maintain compliance with FERC, GAAP and internal control requirements Collaborate with operations, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to verify asset information Identify opportunities to streamline fixed asset processes and improve data quality Participates in company training as required Makes regular reports to the Manager of Fixed Asset Accounting Minimum Qualifications:

What Success Looks Like:
We offer a competitive salary range of $57,900 to $83,775 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Compensation may vary by geographic location.
