Red Seat Ventures is seeking a results-driven Vice President of Sales to accelerate revenue growth, scale a high-performing team, and strengthen our go-to-market motion across enterprise/mid-market/SMB. This leader will partner closely with the SVP of Sales on strategy and execution, translating company goals into clear plans, quotas, and repeatable processes.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITES:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Co-own the sales strategy with the SVP of Sales; define annual plans, segmentation, and coverage models.

  • Build, lead, and develop a diverse team of Account Executives; instill a performance, coaching, and accountability culture.

  • Establish scalable operating rhythms (WBRs, forecast calls, pipeline reviews) and continuously refine our sales playbook.

Revenue & Pipeline

  • Own new business bookings and expansion/cross-sell targets; deliver accurate monthly/quarterly forecasts.

Go-to-Market & Partnerships

  • Collaborate with SVP of Sales and Ad Sales Marketing on packaging, pricing, and launch plans; equip the field with winning narratives.

  • Develop channel/strategic partnerships that expand reach and drive incremental revenue.

Process, Tools & Insights

  • Champion CRM hygiene and sales operations excellence; drive adoption of sales tech (e.g., Salesforce)

  • Implement KPI dashboards; use data to diagnose funnel friction, optimize conversion, and shorten sales cycles.

  • Ensure compliant, on-brand commercial practices in partnership with Legal and Finance.

Enablement & Customer Outcomes

  • Partner with SVP of Sales, Ad Sales Marketing, and Podcast Marketing to upskill teams on discovery, value articulation, competitive positioning, and negotiation.

  • Maintain executive visibility with top accounts; support complex deal strategy and executive-level selling.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 15+ years in B2B sales (including 5+ years leading managers), with a record of exceeding targets in a high-growth and transformation environment.

  • Expertise building and scaling teams, processes, and forecasts.

  • Data-driven operator comfortable with CRM, revenue analytics, and compensation/territory design.

  • Executive presence, crisp communication, and cross-functional influence with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Legal.

  • Nice to have: experience in media, digital partnerships, creator/brand ventures

Success Metrics

  • New business bookings & net revenue retention

  • Pipeline coverage, stage conversion rates, and sales velocity

  • Forecast accuracy (within 5-10%)

  • Ramp time and productivity per rep; win rates and average deal size

  • Expansion revenue and multi-product attach rates

  • Team engagement, retention, and internal promotions

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $247,000.00-300,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
