As a Security Officer - Weekday Overnight Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support day-to-day operations by responding to concerns, documenting activity, and providing strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed in a food and beverage production and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points such as gates, doors, and loading dock areas; verify identification and/or authorization when required; and direct visitors, vendors, and drivers to the appropriate check-in process.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders.
  • Complete shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs with accurate details; communicate pertinent information during shift handoff; and report equipment issues such as doors, lighting, and/or cameras per site procedure.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of security-related experience.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
